Hi there! I am a policy scholar with research interests in social policies amid Asia's changing demographics. The focus of my research is twofold: understanding the variations in social policy design across countries and exploring their impact on individual well-being. I delve into social inequality issues such as long-term care, education, inheritance, and pensions, with a specific emphasis on the Asian comparative context, including Korea, Singapore, and China. My work has been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Development Studies, Journal of Marriage and Family, and Research on Aging.
I earned my Ph.D. in public policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2022. Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Family and Population Research at NUS from 2022 to 2023. I hold Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Public Administration from Korea University. |
